Whim Cellars - Since 2018

Whim Cellars is a exclusive boutique winery located on the southwest ridge of the Suisun Valley AVA. High above the Suisun Valley floor in Rockville, California, Whim Cellars and the Villa Capricho Estate Vineyards offer the most unique wine experience in all of Solano County.

Our brands include: Villa Capricho Estate: Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Verdot, Pinot Noir and an our exceptional Cuvee blend. We also produce the Swope Family Estates brand, offering artisan style wines made from both Tempranillo and Merlot varieties only found on the valley floor of the Suisun Valley AVA; and lastly we produce a wonderfully dry rose of Tempranillo called “SirPig” also from the Suisun Valley AVA.

While our winery is closed to the public, our wines can be found throughout Solano County and we can be reached for private tastings.

Our partners and co-winemakers Gonzalo Covarrubias and Don Huffman Jr., collaberate on every decision made at the winery. This collaberation is essential in making great wine. Reach out to us via our email mailings and tastings held throughout the Solano County area.
